On June 25, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. MDT, USU Forestry Extension hosted the eighth "Learn at Lunch" webinar. Dr. David Nowak presented information about the roles urban trees play in air quality and pollution regulation.

Air quality continues to be a critical issue across Utah and we all want to show that trees can help.  During this Learn at Lunch presentation, Dr. Nowak will explore the latest research on urban forest impacts to air quality.  If you have ever wondered: How can you measure a tree's contribution to air quality?  How can we plan planting projects to maximize air quality benefits? Are certain trees better than others for air quality improvements? Do some trees contribute to the problem?... then definitely tune in for this webinar.
